This blog is born out of two of my loves, people watching and working out. Recently due to the layout of my gym and some pharmaceutical intervention I've been able to revisit both loves. First to the odd part of that last statement. Over the last 2 years I've had some cardiac issues that limited me from working out. Over the last couple months due to the great work of my cardiologist here in Orlando we've been able to get my heart in a place where I've been able to begin working out regularly again. Meanwhile the gym I go to has 95% of the cardio equipment on the second floor. This works out perfectly for me bc I can get my jog on and people watch and observe the majority of the people lifting weights. I have full view of all the weight machines, the racketball courts, the 2 rowing machines and a row of stair climber machines. The only area I can't see are the pool and the free weights. I still have a great view from above of all the people using the weight machines and people walking around.
I'm starting this blog because I've observed so many interesting people over the last few months. Everyone from "the spiky hair woman", "the butch woman", wrist roller kid, and all the hardcore weightlifter guys. I've had so many stories that I've shared with friends, co-workers and patients of mine. I feel like this will be a good outlet to share stories and hopefully keep myself motivated to hit the gym.
I hope everyone enjoys and maybe even gets them to go hit the gym because after all, you never know what you will see!
